Elliott and Scott have been better OCs than Morris bc of

their dedication to stick to the run. Morris would have thrown the ball 50 times yesterday, and we probably would have finished with 3 turnovers. I'm sure some people were saying "Why do we keep running it up the middle? It's not working!" but we were in 3rd and short all night because of those consistent 2 and 3 yard gains on our running plays. Then, as the game progressed, we wore them down and the holes really started opening up. 297 yards passing and 215 yards rushing is something we almost never saw in the Morris days.

Just wanted to compliment the two CO-OCs on their great job yesterday and all season. We haven't missed a beat without Morris, and I think we've actually taken that next step to becoming a truly consistent offense.

on it.

They seem much more willing to take what the defense will give you that Morris.

It also helps that our OL is more talented and effective and running game this year is stronger and more reliable.

No doubt I like our offense better this year then any of the Morris years.

That said, Morris never had a good offensive line, or a RB that could run through tackles. People seem to forget that he took over one of the worst offenses i have seen us field and made us one of the best offenses in the nation.
