Yes he did just stupid play not to get first down. Watch it will cost them the game. Miami’s horse shoe in fourth quarter comebacks still alive. Game over if he gets the first down

I saw that too. Did you see Mafah do that twice in the Louisville game? I do think he did it because he was afraid to get hit. I think he just didn't know he was short. But nonetheless he quit running before he got tackled.
