Very surprised Coach V was running a 3-3-5 when TCU had 6 on the line and a back in the back field... We won't see a lot of 3-3-5 in the ACC but this was a great play call.

Woodazz was made for a 3-3-5.

You need athletes to run it. If you have those athletes, it is great.

1. DT who can play DE (Woods)
2. LB who can play DE (Carter)
3. Safety who can play OLB. (Woodazz)

When you have an athlete like Woodazz who can play safety, linebacker or edge rusher (Isaiah Simmons - Woodazz) it makes it even better.

With the same 11 guys on the field you can go anywhere between a 5-2-4 to a 3-2-6.

I expect the basic Clemson D will be a 3-3-5 next year.

Most everyone, including us, is using 3-3-5 in many situations.

With today's pass happy offenses, this is a good scheme. Everyone utilizes some 3-3-5, and some teams like Syracuse, Wake, and NC State use it almost entirely.

That's a good looking play. Lets just hope that it's not too much eye candy for ACC refs, we all know how flag happy they can get. Knowing them it'll be a holding call on three different Tigers.

I don't want to see any wide receiver screens. Defenses have been collapsing on our space on that play a lot more frequently.
