To the best kept secret for years but not since we whipped the Tide 44-16 at 15-0 to make it 2 out of the last 3 Natty’s!
It’s going to be almost impossible for the Tide to beat us when our talent level coming in is the same or better because we develop players better than anybody in college football period!
Go Tigers!! We should drop the coots because they hurt our strength of schedule, weak chicken poop!

I agree 100%, and dropping the coots would be the biggest kick in the gut that we could ever deliver to them. Nothing like saying to them, we dropped y'all bc playing y'all hurt our strength of schedule!!!

I would rather beat the Gamecocks than win the Natty! I want to play the Gamecocks every year, even if we lose. I would rather hear them crow a few times in my life time than hear one time that we are afraid to play them!
I wish we would go back to playing home and home in basketball!
The Gamecocks have never been the weakest team on our schedule! I doubt they ever will be, after one year of hearing fear the thumb.... I want 2 thumbs! Lets make it 10 straight......

Actually, in '98 and '99 the coots were a combined 1-21

and were easily the weakest team on the schedule those 2 years, including being worse than Furman. There have probably been several other years where they were the weakest on the schedule but I'm too lazy to research further. However, your point is well taken.

I have been a Clemson University fan since I can remember and I'm 38 years young. I've seen some good teams,
I've seen some great teams and I have to admit I've seen some down right awful teams, but as a true Clemson University fan I never wavered. I said that to say this to all my fellow fans. WITH LOYALTY AND HUMBLENESS... WE DESERVE THE BEST...AS SO DO OUR TEAM. FIGHT TIGERS! FIGHT TIGERS! FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT.

Welcome to the Nation's No. 1 team Mr. Mayes. You and your fellow commits have an opportunity to continue the winning ways the Tigers currently enjoy.
Not only are we getting outstanding OL commits but we are getting commits who are large enough to occupy a lot of space along that line. I know they are eager to protect Trevor and our next great QB. I realize the prospects we are recruiting do a lot of talking to other recruits when they are together and on social media. Some may be reluctant to even hint at their final choice but, from some of the comments by current commits, they seem to indicate some highly rated prospects have indicated the Tigers are in the lead for their services. I hope this is true and will not lead to our disappointment should they decide to go elsewhere.
Some of the best recruiters are our current commits and those who plan to commit at a later date. There may have been some doubt when Dabo first said "the best is yet to come" but that doubt has already been erased.

Getting guys like this is the very best thing for our FB program bc, it entices other elite players to come in and compete with like athletes bc they believe in the adage of iron sharpens iron, and it's a fact that it does. It all goes back to, or comes from the same adage of, to be the best, you have to beat the best, and the best iron will sharpen the best iron!!! Keep picking up guys like this, and guys like him will follow!!!
