The SEC is now the Dog that caught the car.
Remember 12 months ago we thought that the SEC or the Big Ten could add Clemson. The last thing the SEC needs is a team that’s capable of going nine and three in the conference on an annual basis.

Yeah I would buy this argument in some years but the SEC just isn’t very good this year.
I hope I’m wrong and we beat you guys. But I don’t think we are nearly as good as our record indicates.

What's Clemson supposed to do about it? Go out and recruit for other ACC schools? Clemson schedules 2 SEC teams non con. Ole Miss usually plays 3 or 4 cupcakes non con. Lane sounds like an idiot!

No objective person can tell me that the ACC is a better football conference than the SEC this year.
Didn't say I agree with him about how a 3-loss team should get in over us.
But week to week, the competition is better in the SEC. Truth.

Yes has to be hard playing Kentucky at home, not being able to dog walk Florida like Miami did, Vandy losing to Georgia State then turning around and beating Bama, OU without the ability to throw a foward psss dog walking Bama. Missouri still being ranked with two 30+ point losses and letting the coots come back to beat them. If you change the logo on those teams from sec to acc everyone would be talking about how trash they are. Do they have the strongest top teams? Probably but they’re the ONLY conference in the country who consistently talks #### about everyone else and gets nothing but excuses for their losses by everyone. If they are really getting so unfair treatment then they should break away and do their own thing so they can get some fairness.

That is the beauty of a diverse playoff. You get to find out how competitive these teams from supposed lesser conferences really are.
We see every year in the NCAA Basketball Tournament, teams that were supposedly inferior to the big names pulling upsets all the time.
Funny that our coach has 2 NCs beating that Alabama team he mentioned. How many does he have?

Don’t lose to Kentucky, Lane. Beat 4-7 Kentucky and you’re in. Beat 5-5 Florida and lose to 4-7 Kentucky and you’re still in. Pretty simple.
