Should the ACC go back to divisions?

So many teams in the conference the fact you can't play a little over third of the conference each season. If they went to divisions if went to 18 teams, you could play everyone in your division and maybe one other conference game from the cross division and you would compete better for the championship?

Divisions are done in P4 unless one or more conference gets enough teams to have 4 divisions.

They don't want that because it would create 2 teams with an additional loss and might reduce the number of teams they get in the playoffs.

Divisions were basically a way to give a 9-3 team a chance to win the conference with a one game upset. It's unlikely a 9-3 team is any P4 conference's champion ever again.

Clemson has a contract to play in the ACC for the next 10 years.

Clemson is in a court case to get out of the ACC before the 10 years.

Clemson is not going to be in the ACC for another 10 years.

Whatever the best thing to do turns out to be, you can bet your grandma's panty girdle that the ACC will do just the opposite! and then blame Clemson and FSU for it.
