whipping of Bama in the 2019 CFP in Santa Clara.
Bama is 8=3 overall in the CFP, Clemson is 6-4 overall in the CFP (second best record). Two of Bama's losses were to Clemson in the CFP title game.
My favorite ESPN Gameday was a couple of years ago when their special guest was a famous ventriloquist. That day his "dummy" was made to like Finebuam. It was killing Finebaum. Nobody likes that guy.

Paaawl is in a completely different category than Galloway. He works for the SEC(network) and his checks come directly from the SEC(network); he knows where his bread is buttered. Paaawwl is not an objective analyst he’s an SEC honk who’ll always be biased in favor of his overlords.
This reminds me of one of the most fun moments of my Clemson fandom. Ole paaaawwwll was loud and full throated in his beliefs that Clemson was gonna get demolished by the greatest team in football (at any level) history the 2018 Alabama crimson tide. After we boatraced the tide we sat in the stands at Levi stadium for about an hour watching ESPN film the SEC network post game show; it was pure gold. I’ve never seen a more pathetic group of sad sacks in my whole life. It was the personification of one of those stereotypical country songs where I guy loses his wife, his truck, and his dog dies; it was a fabulous watch.

How are they bias? The network routinely votes/rates Clemson in the top 2 in the nation. A guy on the network who happened to play at OSU thinks UGA will win. Despite what you read here, that isn't a crazy take.

Lee was an example. CBS is an SEC channel and ESPN sounds like them: what (SEC team) has to do win and this is what will happen when Clemson (or other non-SEC team) loses. Quite often- enough that I’ve seen plenty of non-ACC P5 teams’ fans agree (I realize ad pop.) there is bias.
I guess you just have to recognize it.

Dude, take off your dog doo glasses. It’s been quoted, alluded to and verified. ESPN is in bed with the SEC. it’s ok, I’m ok with it. I just don’t watch or subscribe. Do you, but stop pretending that the machine isn’t driving ongoing impossible to rationalize shade throne against every team and division not in the SEC.
They rank is where they have to for fear of losing credibility even with their homer pal SEC viewers.

Based on porosity of CU defense against OSU in post-season 2020 plus replacing the backfield (QB and RB) and the 2 most productive WRs, why wouldn't he say this?
However, it will only make the post-game sweeter when Clemson does beat UGA.

Polick knows what’s going to happen but he’s a Georgia guy and doesn’t want the fan base coming after him. I fully expect DJ to throw for 300 and 4 TD. Hopefully he won’t be running the ball too much. Way to early in the year to be getting bumps and bruised. I say Clemson wins by 10.

Always a chuckle to see folks get up in arms about who someone picks - is there anything less important or less interesting than who "ears" or Galloway picks? Of course they are all biased (as we and the staff here are - how many times have you seen the TigerNet folks pick against Clemson????) or are told who to pick just to stir up the apparent controversy.
In any case this game is huge for both teams, neither has played a down and both will be very good but both also have plenty of potential gaps to fill. Whoever fills them first over the summer will likely win game one and both will be much better by the end of the year no matter what happens - not a stretch to think you might see a Round 2 in the new year!
