his teammates and we fans. He assumed he had enough lead to waltz into the endzone. Fortunately he did. He crossed the goal line with the ball still tucked but exposed himself to injury by lack of awareness of the situation. Had the pursuer had one more step he might have taken the ball out of Beaux's hand.

I would run him until his buttwhole bleeds.
