For the same reason the Irish will always be overrated and higher in the polls... the history and tradition of ND football. Much prefer ND to WV.

I don't think we have a choice about nd being a full member. swoffy tried but wv wanted to be in the acc. so to answer your question, a bird in the hand is better than one in the bush, they are closer, and overall have better teams. you are right they have redneck fans, but so do we. their academics are not as good as nd, but neither are ours. our president just came from wv, so what does that say. and finally, imo nd will NEVER be a full member of the acc.
