I am knocking on wood, crossing my fingers, everything in the book hoping it doesn’t happen to him. Love BV and hope he can maintain success at HC.
But, Oklahoma is on the edge obviously. And I’m just throwing that out there.
And if this happens, and Brent is kind of just out there…I don’t think Tom Allen could hold his spot. No matter only having one year. Or even if it were to happen next year.

BV is not going anywhere this year I don't think. Maybe next year if he can't turn it around. He will be a high dollar DC where ever he does go.

When it happens, and it will have to happen eventually, I think he’d be a great option to be the next head coach. But he’s not in danger of being fired and has a lotttt of ties to OU

Yes but Bama on the road spells trouble. Alabama is a force I don’t see slowing down.
If they slip up and lose contention for postseason, after a losing season and pressure built on Brent already, I see Oklahoma pulling the trigger like LSU, Penn State, Auburn, and other big time programs that are urgent.

I understand where you're going with this. Personally would love to have him as DC again. I imagine its wishful thinking. First, I'm not sure he would take it, secondly not sure Dabo would offer but it wouldn't surprise me if Dabo did though.
