Just met Sergio Gillman, CB in 05-06, on a flight to PHX.

I boarded the plane and was greeted by a flight attendant who said Go Tigers when she was my hat and shirt. Said her daughter was currently a Clemson student. Then she said a former player was on the plane too.

After the flight I waited and he walked right up sporting his paw hat and said Go Tigers.
We chatted for a few mins about his playing days and the current state of the program.

He was such a genuine and sincere guy... great eye contact, big smile.. then he said, how cool is it that on a Salt Lake to Phoenix flight we have 3 Clemson family on board? Loved that he phrased it that way.
Said he's still playing some arena ball and loving life, and that he and some former Clemson dbs still text during games about how our currebt dbs are performing.

This whole conversation took place by big windows with a sunny view of Univ of Phoenix Stadium.. hope to be here again in 3wks (wasn't supposed to be here or on this flight).

Love our Clemson family.. Go Tigers!!
