Baseball can’t get over the hump. Basketball is perennially disappointing. And now football isn’t going well. We’re even struggling in men’s soccer this year.
A raise should be when you’ve excelled at your job. What excellence has Neff created at Clemson?

Off season in football after winning the ACC last season, and you think basketball making the elite and then following that with records win and another NCAAT is perennially bad?

Losing 2 out of 3 to the Coots in football is bad. Football has been “off” since 2021 season. Winning ACC championships is great, but is ultimately not the end goal.
You TD’d me and pointed out the positive blips that we’ve had, but didn’t answer the question. What has Neff actually done that proves he deserves a raise?

There's absolutely no way he can (nor should) fire Dabo right now - or at any other point in the last 5 years. The most he can do is talk to Dabo about some staff changes - which he may well have done. It's not the AD's job to hire and fire position coaches.

What decisions has he had to make(through no fault of his own as they are occur organically)? Has he truly excelled in his role as AD or has he enjoyed favorable winds {e.g. FSU taking the offensive & providing cover vs ACC (gor/unenforceable bargains)lawsuit} and game managed the calm waters without any glaring mistakes? He does possess consider skills when it comes to placating an audience/fielding questions from the press with non-answers/platitudes; skill reminiscent to a seasoned, double talking politician like our own senior US Senator & RINO for life, Lindsay Graham-

Being the weak ACC champion is a joke when you can no longer beat a SEC program and you haven't beaten a decent P4 program at home in a year.IMO.
