I love Clemson and i hate everybody else - ESPECIALLY in the ACC - ESPECIALLY ACC teams in NC - but no idea what anyone else is looking at if they don't see that.
He's not even looking for the ball when he does it - he's looking straight ahead or even down and to the left a little . . . .

You nailed it, Rocky. It was flagrant and the results of the impact and fall could have been very bad on Moore--Mabe even Collins as he hit the backboard mount. If that had been our guy with the dunk and an opposing player decked them from behind, we would want them suspended for life, I suspect. It was a correct call and punishment beyond the game it occurred is justified.

This is why you always play hard but with class and composure. Dabo says "Don't lose tomorrow's game today."
Collins' frustration play during an unwinnable game vs Duke might very well cost us our game vs ND.
Just like Brownell's rare technical vs BC could be said to have cost us the BC game.
Some posters want to see more fire from the guys in orange. Well, every time we show fire it costs us more than we want to pay.

I don’t watch a lot of college basketball, but that was the most flagrant foul I’ve ever seen in my life. If it were up to me he would be suspended for more than just one game.

Go back and watch Tyler hansblowo and company knick demontez stits tooth completely put of his mouth. I've seen more flagrant found by way of hess, wertz, etc... than I have players.
I was at LJ one night and right before an official commercial break I sat and watched a ref follow kc rivers from one side of the court to the other and back around just giving him heck. You could see rivers demeanor as being (please let this guy leave me alone) very calm. After the break was about to turn the cameras on KC turned around and I saw him say something to a fellow teammate and bam there went a tech on him.
Watching the replay to whats in question I see no doubt it was flagrant but I also saw the guy from Duke foul him with a tech by grabbing and holding his trunks which made him mistep then the Duke player performed the ritual tobacco road knock a man off the ball and go down court unimpeded. I have to think if ref would've called either the tech on the Duke guy for holding a players truck to stop his drive or the next foul for pushing him off the ball (reach in, illegal whatever) then the foul on the opposite side doesn't happen. Still no excuse for our guys foul but flip side no excuse for major no calls. Why I quit watching bball. Well that and Brownlee just mucking it up everywhere he can.

As bad as this was and looked…It doesn’t hold a candle to what Gerald Henderson did to Tyler Handsborough that one night…of course Coach K did nothing.

Henderson was suspended for dook's opening (and only) ACCT game.. a loss
a very quick search suggested it might have been the NCAA rule at the time.
suspension is not automatic for a flagrant 2

I was pretty sure it was going to be a game or two. He probably helped himself a lot by how he handled the incident by going to Coach K and apologizing. It could have been worse.

Because if he were on the receiving end of that, he would be so scared and then pissed! He knew it was not good. And he made it known that he knew it was not good to both Coach K and his fellow players. Good on him. Now cheer on your team against ND like a boss!

I can't find a link to it but during a Duke game around 2008 Sam Perry got punched directly in the face by a Duke player with a closed fist after fighting for a rebound and there wasn't even a whistle. The only reference I can even find of it was a thread on Tigernet from around that time.

It’s time for change in leadership at Clemson Mens basketball. Just one of many issues . Our program has grown stale and under performing for several years now. Bottom line we aren’t improving period.

How do we know BB didn’t already decide that he was sitting him for a game? Because it wasn’t reported on Tigernet or he didn’t call all of us and ask our opinions. What more is there to say or analyse about this? Collins apologied. Accept it and move on. What do any of us have to accomplish by trying to establish his intent, or read his mind. He made a mistake, he apologized and I believe he won’t do anything like that again. Now, can we move on. Go Tigers!

But at the game and on his way to locker room, gave a high five to fan. Fan, you suc and player same.
Like in football with an intentional helmet to helmet, players high five, chest bump, try to fire up fans. No, your a cheap low life and then people say let them stay on sidelines. Agree some calls are questionable but the ones with clear intent to harm, some coaches would take their Jersey away Monday morning.

But I expect once he saw the replay, he probably thought differently. He just needs to put his self in the other guys shoes and once you do that, you have an epiphany. And he really did sincerely apologize. I don’t think he knew just how bad that was at the time. It was BAD!

That interaction with the fan was not a celebration by any means. Collins was walking to the tunnel with his head down and one fan stuck a hand (looked like a small hand maybe a kid?) down and held it there for what seemed like a long time. Collins lightly touched hands with the fan. If he hadn’t acknowledged the fan y’all would probably be all over him about that. Just gotta have some drama?? This was not a celebration. Looked more like the fan was attempting to console him. Just stop making craap up where there isn’t anything.

Moore isn't completely innocent. In the game at Durham, Moore swung and hit Collins knocking him down. This was just before the half a 31:00:

There were several other interactions between Moore and Collins and both coaches were probably aware. Future NBA players don 't appreciate the hard defense sometimes. Even with the Coach K appreciation tour in Durham Clemson was up 5 with less than 4 minutes in the half.
We've seen dirty plays, flops, manipulation and deception from Coach K's teams over the years. Hope Grayson Allen makes a tour stop.

i sat across the tunnel. The fan was a young person with downs syndrome. He held his hand out for a long time as collins approached. He was sitting with others with downs symdrome. He did make a consoling remark to collins. Collins gave him an obligatory hand slap. Congrats to him.
