When you have three starters out in the secondary—starting freshman in place—against one of the best QBs in the country, it’s gonna mean bad things. Everyone needs to calm down about those issues and see how things look when everyone is in there.

Plus, give credit to the system Wake runs. It's a variation of play action with an option to actually run the football. Having the most experienced OL in the game didn't hurt either; because they are able to provide their veteran QB time to throw against a young secondary.
I agree! People need to chill a little bit on the secondary.

ON the flip side - I personally think it's going to serve the Tigers well moving forward because of how the young corners got exposed.
Getting sharpened by iron and under real game situations in front of a crowd on National TV will motivate ya!
Now some of the "nonsense the coaches are trying to tell them will start sticking more because your going to want anything you can that will help you not allow that to happen again"!

We are good and will be good in the secondary. I expect the pass rush to pick it up which will also help the secondary as well.

Good luck with that. Didn't work for Coach Elliott, Coach Caldwell, and DJU last year. It did not work for Coach Brownell. People that dwell on excuses will never change.

There are two issues. One, are our injured DBs back against the Pack? Two, are the refs going to actually start calling OL holding penalties?

Yes! Holding high and inside.....never called So obvious when we could not pursue latterally.
