Put down the shotgun , Hemingway. It is a disadvantage to most of the schools in this league but Clemson and FSU , VaTech have nothing much to fear. True fanbases and actual football results are all we need to keep up. So #### tired of all the "whoa is us" attitude about ACC/SEC comparisons.

Well, with regards to Clemson, only:
Find and hire replicates of Bill McClellan, Danny Ford, and Clyde Wrenn - then turn 'em loose with this message from the Administration: 'Go get 'em boys!'
Oh, and rid yourself of what's-his-name President. He's a worthless wart on the body of a once-proud program.
Then, continue to act like you're a member of the SEC fraternity, but step it up a few notches. Pretty soon, the brothers will take notice and may let you in and, Voila, you're the newest pledge in the house!

The Clemson bank is full .

BOT just voted yes on about $230 million bucks in facilitiesand new schools to be built in Clemson , Greenville and Charleston. We just opened a brand new , best in this state indoor football only practice facility and we still have money to burn ... dont go around believing the media like some of those dolts that wear the chicken colors , Clemson is too much to be brought down by others' meager improvements. SEC network or not , Clemson will only get stronger .

It's unlikely we'll be able to outspend/out earn Scar in the foreseeable future. We just have to be prudent with our spending.

SCar managed to be able to get where they are despite generating less sports revenue than Clemson for roughy 28 of the last 30 years. The SEC moved to the tops of the sports heap while distributing third and fourth place revenue for most of the last decade.

These are voluntarily reported figures and not remotely apples to apples. SCar did not come close to Clemson's athletic budget until Eric Hyman instituted the YES program. They surpassed Clemson for the first time since the 1980s in 2010.

Scar can have all the extra money generated by the SEC west that they can get . Their saviour coach is almost 70 ...they are the ONLY SEC school tjat doesnt have an on_campus stadium (that rat infested railyard eyesore is in the Bluff rd projects) and they have peaked in football by my estimation. A season or two more and they will slide right back into ECU/NC State status...$Ec or no SEC. You really cant polish a tu®d.

Commissioner Swofford vs Commisioner Slive
Apr 14, 2013, 12:50 PM
|
|
It's been said many times before, but the ACC has been will continue to be diminished until UNC "good ole boy" alumnus & booster Swofford is replaced with a real commissioner. Slive is hard core Ivy League legal beagle with no SEC ties or interests except for improving the league and league revenue. Whether you hate the SEC or not, you should acknowledge Slive is a ball buster who has driven lucrative deals for the SEC. He is forward thinking and the best commissioner in the business.
Slive is not a guy who professes to be neutral and then creams himself when UNC makes a Final Four. Enough said.
