SEC and Big Ten

Since the late 1990s the SEC and Big Ten have aligned themselves in bowl games.

The Citus Bowl, Outback Bowl, and other have displayed a postseason matchup between the top teams in both conferences.


The SEC has dominated those games. The total dominance has gone mostly unspoken. But those that follow along know the Big Ten is not on equal footing with the SEC.


This year it looks like the Big Ten will host several SEC teams in the first round of the playoffs.


I expect that dominance to be on display in the Big Ten home stadiums.
