Seat equity amount still get same seats?

The wording about seat equity has me confused a little…if I give the seat equity amount they set does that still guarantee me my same seats as year before? Know it used to but just unclear if that is still true. TIA

As long as you pay the seat equity amount you should remain in the same seats unless you ask to move

This is not accurate.
Paying any amount does not guarantee you remain in the same seats. I have discussed this at length with the powers that be at IPTAY. IPTAY makes an effort to have seat continuity, however, if a another donor gives more in the same equity level of seating and requests a change that aligned into your current seats, you COULD lose them. That said, your donation has a bigger impact on your parking location than it does on your seat location. These are facts, directly obtained from IPTAY leadership in both phone conversations and emails over the past years since the inception of seat equity.
