So I see SC has one commitment for 2025 and he's a 5.5, 5'11", 160# WR. Are they just saying "screw it, we're just going to mine the portal"? Risky way to live in my book.

They copy what other people do so they will try to duplicate what Fla. St. and others do. Hit the portal hard. Only problem is they will get the left overs.

2024 for UofSC has more transfers in (20) than commits (16) coming in. I think the portal is their UofSC future. I guess that's the way it goes when 22 leave.

Imagine having 36 new faces every year when most of them are truly unknown. At least the coaches get to know recruits during the process.

Yea not a winning combination for having team chemistry! Part of the fun is watching these kids develop and then possibly make an NFL roster.

I hate the coots and hope their whole school gets sucked into a black hole. With that being said they will still land between 20-25 in the rankings by the end. That’s where they seem to be every year with a few 15-20 rankings. If they end up outside the top 25 I’ll be surprised.
