Why in the blue heck do we talk about the coots....

Only thing they have is their Women's basketball program. They are back to being cellar dwellers in football, and most likely going back to being really bad. Chad Holbrook has been a failure so far. So why do we as Clemson fans talk about them and post links on here to FGF, when the only thing they have left is one sport.
The way I see it we have much more important things to accomplish, than to worry about what those losers say. We just had both our soccer and football teams make it to the national title game. They just aren't on our level, and don't deserve our attention.

close friends who went to school there. We're obsessed with them as they are with us. Most in-state rivals throughout the country behave similar.
I don't post stuff about them or put them down much because I got past that years ago but I never pull for them.

beat them in the all sports series? I honestly don't know. But I think they generally best us head to head in all sports. Chad Holbrooke has been a failure? if you compare him to the guy when set records in Omaha and won 2 nattys. He's been as successful as us on average. Just not up to their standard over the past many years. We tend to want to talk about them when we need to make ourselves feel better. We got our own problems. A mbb team that is once again about to be left out of the ncaat. A WBB team that is nationally, historically awful - people talking about getting rid of the program! A baseball team that we are clinging to, hoping they'll beat the coots - the measuring stick. You know it. I know it. Otherwise, you wouldn't bring it up. That's pretty much the last chance for us against them. Didn't we lose to them again today? Monty will probably make us better eventually. But wasn't he a coot? I don't care. At least he's been around successful baseball there and at C of C.
Why do we talk about them?....
