If you read your own article when in a non-euphoric state of mind, you’d understand that the 17 year old girl executed her plan to misrepresent herself as an 18 year old girl. Even going though the effort to advertise herself on a website that connected young girls with creepy old men for ‘paid companionship’ activities.
Furthermore, the quasi-peeemp in this matter was not Matt Gaetz. It was a lawyer who made the initial connection with the faux-18 year old; the lawyer was aspiring to build a friendship with a powerful politician (e.g., Matt Gaetz).
That the lawyer (Abe Greenberg) was Jewish was if no relevance; it is not just AIPAC that endeavors to ‘get the goods’ on powerful politicians in order to have a ‘blackmail chip’ to cash in when needed. Non-Jewish ‘honeypot opportunists’ commonly entrap politicians in blackmailable sutuations.
Matt Gaetz clearly lied when he denied having sex with tge faux-18 year old. His lie, however, was not in a court of law ergo no perjury. Slimy? You bet. Guilty of breaking the law? The legal standard of mens rea says ‘no.’
The bulk of the article was detailing how the faux-18 year old’s experiences with Abe Greenberg was within the general take if how young girls may end up finding themselves trapped in sex trafficking and sexual abuse situations from which they can’t escape. The article did not say, however, that this fate of the faux-18 year old ended suffering that fate.
The article’s obvious purpose was to conflate a summary of how young girls get caught up in sexual abuse situations with the far less serious trouble that the faux-18 year old got herself into, and then … entirely of her own volition and her own personal control … extracted herself. She chose, all of her own accord, to stay in that ‘line of part time work’ until she raised the money to pay for a set of braces.

I know both Matt Gaetz and Joel Greenberg personally. Joel is not a lawyer
We don't know what the 17 year old in question told investigators about the matter, other than she had sex with Greenberg, and misrepresented her age
We do know if prosecutors tried the case, they would have to rely on the testimony of Greenberg who committed multiple other felonies, including stealing from me, a Seminole County taxpayer
Makes sense they were not confident putting this criminal before a jury
The other person mentioned in this article, Chris Dorworth (who I also know personally), sued Greenberg and his family for defamation and settled out of court

Even NYT destroyed the fiction fantasy of miserable leftists that Matt Gaetz knew that he was having sex with a 17 year old.
NYT reported how the girl went through some effort to ‘market herself’ as being 18 years old. Furthermore, it was not Matt Gaetz who ‘discovered’ the faux-18 year old. It was a Jewish lawyer who aspired to establish a ‘strong friendship’ with Matt Gaetz (honeypot operation, anyone?) by vouching for the girl and bringing her to a party to which Matt Gaetz attended.
Whether or not Matt Gaetz had sex with the faux-18 year old (it’s not unlikely that he did) and / or did drugs with her (again, not unlikely that he did), those allegations that he was intentionally involving himself with an underage girl have been out to rest.
