Yesterday. Picked up my 2025 Lexus RX 350 Premium Hybrid. It had 2 miles on odometer. They had a huge red Christmas Bow on the roof and took picture of me standing in front of car grinning like a possum eatin while hanging onto a bird feeder.
I will talk more about it later.
It may take an old codger like me a few years to figure out how to use everything it will do. I have a pvt. pilot's license and owned a Cessna 172, and it's instrutment panel was simple compared to the new Lexus.
Tigers winning today would really cap off my week. I'm eatin' steak today 😋 win or lose.

Congratulations man. Hope you enjoy it and I’m sure you will. There is something about driving a new car.
My only concern on these new vehicles is maintenance cost. Have not done a lot of research but there is so much on these cars these days.
People on here may have them and more power to you but the cars that cut off when you stop would worry myself. Seems like that would take its toll in the long run. I could be way off base seeing these cars are nothing like what we grew up with.

The Lexus Warrant is good.
Basic comprehensive warrant is 4 years or 50,000 miles,
powertrain warranty is 72 months or 70,000 miles
Corrosion Perforation warranty is 72 months or unlimited miles
Service parts 12 months (2 free oil changes)
Roadside assistance 24/365 for 48 months regardless of mileage
Hybrid system warranty is for 8 years or 100,000 miles.
Hybrid battery warranty is for 10 years or 150,000 miles.
Pretty good warranty.

I will stick with my Model A. It doesn't have the pickup it used to and it doesn't get very good gas mileage, but the girls still whistle when I drive by. Or, maybe it is high pitched laughter. I don't hear quite as good as I used to either.

Congerts, I know what you mean about having to learn all the gadgets. I STILL haven't figured out all the stuff on our 2020 GMC Acadia Denali. But, since it is my wife's vehicle anyway, I stick to my old Avalanche LTZ.

You know you are getting old when gadgets you use are smarter than you. Sure do miss those shade tree mechanic days of yore. Heck, on these new cars, you can't even replace a battery without being an electrical engineer and computer programmer.

I feel the same about our new home. It's a fully wired smart house, but it ain't smart enough to teach me how to use it.
