Is Sammy Brown still with the team? All I'm seeing is Woods and Parker.

No. He transferred using a special exception process after the first scrimmage.

He's only a sophomore and the previous defensive coordinator probably did not help Sammy's notoriety (See S. Car 4th qtr).

It was one play, that Woodaz should have made.

There’s no guarantee that Brown would’ve even been near him to tackle him let alone actually tackle him. It’s silly to say Sammy Brown would’ve won the game for us. There was plenty of fault to go around including the offense.
Wes was let go because he lost the defense. and it was “cemented” against Texas .

If I'm not mistaken, I would think this poster is referring to the lack of coverage or stories on Sammy and for that matter, wade woopazz. That's ok tigersd22, they'll be well known by the end of September 😉

I’d still love to see him on offense. He could be John Riggins Jr. in the state of Kansas, Riggins ran a 9.6 or 9.7 100 yard dash. Riggins and Sammy Brown are very similar in size and speed. But, of course, he has more long term potential at LB.

but it ain’t happening. You have enough contact at either of those positions let alone asking for 2 times it.

Seniors and upper class men get most of the hype. That's just the way it is.
