Friday night, very relaxing, just ate some supper and settled in for On Patrol: Live.
Saturday, didn't get moving quite as early as hoped so ended up getting some Duck Donuts for lunch then off to Shoeless to pick up a beer recipe and have a couple beers. Did a little more rambling around, ate supper, let the storms go on through. at 10:30 or so headed over to the 9 Times nature preserve to try and see some meteors, I think my final count was 6 in an hour.
Sunday, did get up and moving on time, got the beer brewed and cleaned up all the stuff from brewing the beer.

Friday ordered delivery and relaxed on the patio. Sat am went to farmers market. After lunch (very hot) bike ride on swamp rabbit. Dinner was nice pasta pesto. Watched dumb tv and crashed. Sunday was piddle around the house and scheme for upcoming projects day. Fired up the grill at dinner and had steak, grilled corn plus fresh corn salad and air fryer okra.

Friday, one of my best friends and his siblings came to town for a weekend reunion, so hung out with them at Legal Remedy Brewing until closing telling stories and laughing a whole lot, and listening to another friend I don't see very often whose duo was playing at the brewery.
Saturday, lots of neglected housework in the morning, grocery run, friends from out of town stopped by to hang out for a while before going to Charlotte for the baseball game. Grabbed a quick supper after they left, then off to LOUD electric jam session. Everybody was rusty and it was rough musically, but we a couple of visitors we all haven't seen in a while stop by so we caught a nice buzz and had a great time even though it seems we all forgot how to count to four.
Sunday, up to walk the dog, then headed to meet my pals from Friday night for lunch before they headed back to their respective homes across the Carolinas. Stopped to see RH Mom, then back home to pick up Mrs. for a trip to the Thirsty Beaver to see The Waymores. The were excellent.
20/19 Covids. I would do it all over again with zero regrets.

SUN--back to quiet around noonish, watched Lucas stay strong.

Friday, Got headshots taken for my website.
Got up Saturday and finally got a sign crated for shipping, after 3½ weeks of the people that were supposed to supply crate flaking, I just went and built it myself. Then, I threw a batch of tap handles on the CNC to get made.
After all of that, I went to see David Ramirez at the Far Out Lounge Here in Austin. Had a good time.
Sunday, I finished all of the tap handles with sanding and painting. Will drop them off at the brewery later this afternoon.

Chastain Park is always an excellent venue, great view for the short people and lots of room to boogie. Heard most of Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin from outside since the lines to get in were extremely long cuz of the lightening delay, no problem since the sound was good out there and the beers are cheap.
Mule did 45 mins of Mule, half old and half new songs, and then ~1:20 of Floyd, great show
Before the show, spent a couple hundo at Buford Hwy Farmers market because I need all that stuff
Pre show tacos at El Rey del Taco were amazing

Friday we hit the pool post-work but it was just 30 year old moms and their toddlers. Meh. Went to some friends' house to hang and grill out, had a few beers and a couple pours of bourbon, got home with the kiddos around midnight. Took daughter right back to that house to spend the night.
Up Saturday for two classes at OTF, burned around 1500 calories and was wiped out. Daughter went to club volleyball tryouts and we hung at the house. Cut grass and sweat my bawls off. Evening beach trip to CB and picked up dinner on the way home. Daughter got the call from Club that she made the team she wanted to be on.
Up Sunday for Sports He>ll. Took both boys to club soccer practice on the other side of town. Spent 10:00 to 12:30 on the soccer fields. Soccer mom's and I were chatting some, wife reminded me I might need to wear a wedding ring every now and then. We laughed about it, but I think she might have been serious. Then off to day 2 of volleyball tryouts. She didn't NEED to be there, but wanted to go. Stayed there for two hours with two hyper-as>s boys in tow. Her friend also made the team, so she was super pumped. Back home to walk the neighborhood. My neighbor is a surf instructor so he was out teaching my boys how to ride a longboard (skateboard) so we may be buying one of those soon. Greenr wants to try but is afraid of ending my skateboarding career as soon as it starts.

Friday - the only tolerable day weather-wise of the weekend, had Corona Lights on the deck and grilled turkey burgers. My Mom and sister were in town as they were taking my nephew back to college and wanted to see littlest APM for his birthday and lilAPMette before she heads off to Penn. We had dessert and firepitted. Stayed up late by my standards.
Saturday - slept in by my standards (0745). Made tea. Gave littlest APM his birffday gifts. Watched a bit of Ahhhsnuhl/Forest (Forest's away kits are dope). Went to karate and had a great workout. Came home, showered, took littlest APM to the local trampoline park with his latest girlfriend (my little Romeo), then picked up pizza and came home for pizza and birffday cheescake (his choice, blech). To bed fairly early.
Sunday - church and a church send off for lilAPMette and the other kids headed off to college, home and caught some Chelsea/LFC, church small group, did some reading, chilling. Good dinner. Got sucked into watching too much of the Ken Burns Country Music thing on PBS, didn't go to bed until 2200. Late for APM.

EPL this weekend, especially the Arsenal, but the only match on my TV was Newcastle/Villa. I guess I will have to nut up and spend more money on subscription TV. (I would dump YoutubeTV, but College football is about to start).
Are you ex-military? I never knew that, if that is the case, but most civilians don't use 24 hour clock time like you did.

going - every studio or channel wants to control their content and make you pay specifically for it. So YouTube TV, Hulu, etc. are now losing channels. Our total "TV" bill will soon rival what we once paid for cable. The revolution has ended. That said, for EPL, the Tour de France, and rugby, APM gladly pays for Peacock. And Rebecca Lowe...
2) APM did not serve. Tried to enlist in 1989. Was rejected. Most of my family served and I work with veterans and active duty military on a near-daily basis.
That said, the 24-hour time is as much a Euro affectation as it military.

wife's cousin got hitched this weekend. I've become pretty close w/ her uncle...he's a good ole boy that likes to play golf, hunt, drinks bourbon, etc. so we've hit it off since we live closer.
Friday - played golf w/ the grooms/dudes in fam. I played w/ UIL and FIL. I got FIL absolutely shithammered. talking like, bourbon was out at 9:00 AM shiddy haha. I was doing the old college trick where you hold the bottle up but don't slam it, b/c wife would neuter me
Actually played phenomenal. Did a "texas scramble" format (best drive, own ball in). Used my drive for every hole on the front, if I was playing my own ball I was 2 over. started off 6 pars...6 fairways, 6 GIR, ZERO birds.
I started trying to drive holes at this point, but we ended up -4.
Stopped at a bar on the lake for lunch, picked up chicks from daycare, started to get ready for rehearsal dinner....except dawghater2mom/babysitter was stuck in ATL traffic. took her 6.5 hours to get here, which is wild. so we skipped rehearsal and I went and picked up pizzas.
Sat - gnarly storms in the morning. went to wedding in afternoon. It was outside, and there was steam coming off the ground.
dawghater2toddler was flower girl. she was having absolutely none of it walking down the aisle solo, so your boy got to walk her down the aisle.
which pissed me right TF OFF, b/c none of my suits fit. I luckily had one in an upstairs closet that was a cheapo I got from Jos. A Banks when all my groomsmen rented their tuxes. It'd always been like 2 sizes too small, but it fit. Still looks like absolute #### so I'm glad I'll be in all these pictures.
gotta sell some robots so I can get a new wardrobe.
wedding was good, got dawghater2she real drunk and had some primal blackout poundtown adventures when we got home.
Sunday - holy hangover. picked up waffle house. played w/ dawghater2toddler outside for a bit (finally). put girls down, wife gave me a full service. picked up hibachi ftmfw.
already storming here again...

Fri - Took little one to school for drop in to meet the teacher and get ready for the new year. Anniversary celebration of sushi at the TakoSushi in the alley and then some karaoke singing. Home and celebrated the anniversary properly with redhead things.
Sat - not much, watched a lot of golf. Hit the pool in the afternoon but didn't stay long as we quickly got chased away by lightning.
Sun - more golf, went to Mellow Mushroom with some fellas for beers and watched Lucas bring home the win. Got little one to bed at a decent time in preparation for first day of school today.

Friday-nothing
Saturday- 5 of us on my boat joined 13 other boats in CHS harbor for a trip to Lake Moultrie through the locks.
Took about 2 hours to get up there; stopped at Gilligan's on the Tail Race to grab a beer and hit the bathroom. Went through the locks, drove about a mile or two into Moultrie, ate lunch and floated and swam for a couple hours.
Started clouding up a bit on the lake so we made our way back through the locks for the 75' drop back to the river. Stopped somewhere around Pimlico to pee and refresh beers, then hammer down back to Shem Creek. Rough AF in the harbor since the wind had picked up and that stretch from Drum island to the landing sucked. Made it home in about 1:45 I think around 6 pm.
Awesome day though--Boat was flawless for the 110 miles and 4.5 hours we put on it (I need to check GPS for exact mileage), and had a great time with friends. If you've never that trip or gone through the locks I wreck o mend it.
Sunday I was sore AF and slept late. Goofed off most of the day and later golf carted it to Mainland Container to see Hans play a bit. I guess the MPPD is cracking down on golf cart crimes again, so I left promptly at sunset and checked carefully as as not to get busted driving the 200 feet I have to on the sidewalk.
10/10 weekend; will do again next year.
