Romo vs Brady as color analyst?

Watching the two NFL games today, two very different styles between the two. I much prefer Romo. I know some don’t like him, but I think he’s insightful and spots things that are cool to hear. Brady adds nothing for me.

Romo. Easy.
Romo may be the best color commentators since John Madden.

This. Give me Buck and Aikmen over everyone. Brady is still getting comfortable with it. Romo is great.

Romo is making $18M/year while Brady has a 10 year 375M contract with Fox. Has anyone anywhere ever chosen which game to watch based on who the color commentator is? No, the only thing that matters is which teams are playing.

If there’s an option of 2 or more games, I’ll actively seek out the one that Romo is calling.
So in my instance, yes, I do pick what game to watch sometimes based on who’s calling it. Sure I’m not alone in that either.

Well, if Mowins is calling a game I'll change the channel or go watch paint dry...

Brady has a long way to go. Talks too fast and spews too much. He has not developed a natural style. Way too chatty and nervous. Maybe he will grow into the role but he is hard to listen to right now.

Romo over Brady. Brady is getting better but he just lacks the personality for the color role. Too robotic. Anyhow, Collingsworth is the best. Analysis of what’s happening as the plays develop is a excellent. Good chemistry with Mike Tirico.
