They just updated at lunch time today so...are you sure about that? Do they really update things more than once a day?

Yes. They update it several times per day. One of the analysts during the lunch time chat predicted Adams to Auburn. Another analyst said we have a chance with Adams. No one confirmed their earlier prediction of him going to Clemson.

Yeah. No one really knows one way or the other, but I don't think that Adams is a lock to us (as everyone earlier predicted).

Doesn't matter either way until Robert Thorne on TCI says otherwise I will believe he is signing with Clemson on signing day. He was the only one that projected Tony Stewart to Clemson and his sources have not been wrong as long as I have been following them. He projects Adams to Clemson to be 90%.

Hope you're right. I'm definitely going to follow what TCI has to say about it. As of now, he's the only Clemson site making a prediction on Adams. If he's right, then he deserves a lot of credit.

I get a little tickled at all of the predictions. The best thing about making them early is when they go wrong, you can always say "things changed late in the process." I have talked to people who are very close to Adams, and they don't know where he is going. The Clemson staff doesn't know where he is going, and there is good reason: As of this morning, Adams didn't know where he was going. He wants to sit down with his mother and hash it all out. I am not sure how anyone could "know for sure" when the kid doesn't even know.

Not at all. I'm saying that when his own coaches don't know, and the coaching staffs don't know, I'm not sure how anyone else could be "sure." I'm not sure why that's so hard to understand.

No David it is not that hard to understand. Is it that hard for you to understand that someone may have some insight to the program that you do not? Robert has been spot on with his predictions over the years and until he gives me reason to doubt his sources I will stick with his projections. This isn't a slight on you or this site as I like tiger net as well.

TCI has been pretty spot on...but we have no idea what kind of pressure is being put on these prize recruits here at the finish. Any thing can happen.
Even if he signs with Clemson, doesn't mean David is wrong.

And I'm not saying he doesn't sign with Clemson. I think we have a fantastic shot, and I know our staff does as well. But I also think if you ask Jeff Scott right now, he will tell you he probably doesn't know. Big Mon LOVES Clemson, and has a great relationship with the coaches. Will that tip the scales in our favor? I hope so

I think both sites have great info. But the writing on TCI, especially on the recruits, is horrifically bad. It's almost unreadable, like a five year old wrote it. It's like someone handed a pen to a trained monkey. Just. Not. Readable.

To one analyst who is a CU beat writer is a bit naive no? Wouldn't he be the biased one? Not saying you are wrong to listen to him but ignoring what everyone else says and making statements that bc their predictions have changed, they don't know what they are talking about, is somewhat asinine right?
And bf I get the "coot call" I have seen people slams JC Shurbutt's predictions bc he is a coot but the reality is, he is the recruiting director for the nation and if SC isn't in the game with a player, he says it. TCI may be right, he may project at 90% but when was that projection made? Last 3 days, there is a lot of movement.

People like J.C. have been in the game a long time, and guys like him (South Carolina guy or not) have a lot of great relationships with coaches across the region. Coaches are a great reference when the clock is ticking down, which is why I've spent a good deal of time texting back and forth with Jimmy Hughes, who is Adams' coach and gave me a great interview the other day.

It seems as though Adams really likes Clemson and Auburn and his momma really likes UGA and Clemson. To me this seems like when they sit down and hash it out they can both agree on Clemson for their own reasons. Like David said, nobody can be "sure" at this point, but I believe he and his family ultimately decide on Clemson.
