Anyone following the Kyle Rittenhouse trial?
Nov 16, 2021, 4:48 PM
|
|
I know the topic isn't Clemson, football, or sports related but it's a slow day.
The prosecutor in this case, Thomas Binger, must have received his law degree on-line or via mail order. The guy is a absolute idiot.
At the end of the day, I think it's fair to say that Kyle Rittenhouse, who was 17 at the time, had absolutely no business in Kenosha, Wisconsin during the riots let alone carrying an assault rifle. I think his motives were entirely disingenuous.
That said, the prosecutor has almost gone out of his way to make sure the kid gets acquitted. He has pi$$ed-off the judge, insulted the jury, contradicted himself numerous times, and in several other instances, failed to prove many of the assertions raised in his opening arguments.
The point to all of this is to please pray for the people in Kenosha. If this kid is acquitted, or if he doesn't receive a "harsh" sentence, you going to see some people use that as an excuse to riot, loot, and destroy property.

who looted and burned $millions of private businesses that night... did they have "business" in Kenosha?
Do people have a right to protect their businesses, their livelihoods, or should they just allow "peaceful protesters" to loot burn their businesses and beat the shyatt out of anyone who dares to oppose them?

Amen. Whether the kid shoulda been there or not, the trial has made VERY clear he was just executing his right to self defense. If you watch the testimony of the human waste he shot, even they admitted he was being aggressed upon

Amazing that out of all the people that saw the piece of "human waste", as you call him, nobody else saw the guy as a threat. He didn't have a weapon on him, was just yelling. And I tell you what, if you were to point a gun at me, I'm going to try to take it from you as well. As well, it doesn't matter what the gun laws were for Wisconsin or how they were interpreted, he was a minor crossing state lines with a loaded weapon that he should not have had. He said he was going there to protect the businesses. No one, including him has said that he actually stopped at any business to protect it. All he did was walk thru the streets pointing his gun. The kid lied about being a medic and my 4 year old daughter does a better job at fake crying than he did. He looked more like he was constipated and trying to release a big one. The excuse of his dad living in Kenosha gives him a right to be there. Does his dad own one on the businesses he was supposedly there to protect? Was he there to protect his dad? He was there looking for trouble and was trying to use what was going on as an excuse to get him out of trouble and now to get away with murder.

There’s pretty clear evidence that “trying to remove a gun” from someone while unarmed is a bad plan. Take the Kenosha insurrection, for instance....

If you chase someone to take their gun from them, you are the threat. Someone with a gun, and really wanting to use it, would not give you the opportunity to chase them to begin with. But go ahead, test that theory when you get the chance.

Have you even watched any of the trial? Or just watch CNN? 1. Gun never traveled over state lines 2. Why does a 17 yr kid lying about being a medic matter? 3. The 3 men that got shot and 2 that died weren’t exactly saints, all had records, hell the first guy he shot just got discharged from the hospital for attempting suicide. 4. Yeah I agree all of them shouldn’t have put themselves in that ###### situation. 5. The prosecutors absolutely have intentionally tried to get a mistrial, bc they have dropped the ball big time. 6. The fat prosecutor trying to say a skateboard isn’t a deadly weapon , ok, go out in the parking lot and get cracked in the head with one and see how it feels. 7. Who in the right mind charges a guy with a assault rifle? 8. Why didn’t the prosecution search the living victims phone? Bc they had the warrant for it. 9. You could tell Binger has never handled a rifle, guns aren’t toys. Never point them at anyone 10. Ether way that city is gonna burn. And it’s sad for the people of that community.

You're sick. Rittenhouse wasn't being a vigilante. The only people behaving like vigilantes were the thugs who chased down KR when he was running to turn himself in to police after having defended himself against that piece of garbage Rosenbaum. The thugs were going in for the kill... first with "jumpkick man" kicking him in the head, then skateboard boy hitting him with the skateboard, and then the now "one armed dude" pointing the glock at him.

If someone points a gun at me, and I don’t have one, I’m going to remain calm, be polite, and do what they say.
That is not the time for sudden movements and acts of aggression.
The only exception is if someone tries to carjack you and force you into the car at gunpoint. Don’t ever get in the car. They will almost definitely drive you somewhere desolate and murder you.

How many of the rioters crossed state lines to burn a city?
Nov 17, 2021, 8:16 AM
[ in reply to Re: And the "peaceful protesters"... ] |

Do you lose the right to defend yourself if you cross state lines?
Should those in neighboring cities not care a lick about a place their family lives, a place they work, being burned and destroyed by people crying about a justified police shooting?
Aside from your obvious ignorance as to the facts of the case, your reasoning, if we can call it that, is empty.

You better get your facts straight about the gun crossing state lines why he was there and quit listening to the main stream media!! Not going to give them here got no time to educate you about facts vs fiction. He had every right to be there according to Wisc. Law and the constitution of the USA, he had every right to be armed. Read the facts ,read the constitution, listen to the facts and then you can make a judgement of his guilt or innocence. I sure am glad you are not on the jury.

to protect their businesses and their livelihoods. My point was, the kid was not from Kenosha, he didn't know any of the business owners in the area, nor did he work for any of those businesses. Heck, many of the business owners weren't even there which is why I question the kids motives. He had no ties to the area or the businesses so he had no legitimate reason to even be there and his mother should have her head examined for letting him go especially with a loaded weapon. While he should not have been there in the first place, I don't think he went there with the intend to actually shoot people. If he was looking for trouble, I'd say he managed to find it and this decision may end-up ruining his young life.

or anyone else have the right to protect private businesses from being looted and burned??? If this nonsense started happening in my hometown, I would help defend the businesses of friends and fellow community members. That's called being a HERO!!!! On the other hand, the human refuse that were burning the city that night get a pass.
This kid was being attacked, and one of the attackers was ARMED. I admire his courage. And I can tell you this right now - If I had a business there, I'd be there defending it, armed to the teeth.

Projection isn’t just a river in Egypt, obviously. This dolt is telling you how HE, and his ilk, thinks. That look on Noah’s face is a stupid as the words apparently attributed to him there.
Because it’s been proven that’s what lefties think when they show up at Congressional baseball games with guns. Proven. No elitist powers of mind-reading required. And you can’t get more elite than a late-night “comedian.”
And, before you project again and scream “racist,” Seth Meyers and Jimmy Kimmel are even dumber than Noah.

He was a 17 y.o. running around with a FIRE EXTINGUISHER.
The gun was to protect himself. Are you suggesting like the prosecutor said, that he should have "just taken a beating "? That KR was a "coward" because he didn't use his fists on the people the ADA called "a crowd of heroes"?
Even if that was the way life works in Liberal Lala Land, how was KR supposed to know they weren't going to use his own gun on him?
They were mostly felons with jailtime served--aka hardened criminals. They know what to do with a gun once they take it from someone, even if the prosecutors don't.

"Discussions." These are often complex issues that illicit mixed feelings and emotions and the very first thing you do is try to make it black and white and lump me into some category you feel comfortable putting me in so you can make baseless assumptions about how I perceive everything. Guess what? You're off base. Shocking, right? Who knew making idiotic snap judgements about somebody would lead to faulty conclusions?

He was protecting his own life. What do you mean he wasn't protecting anything of his own? He went there to help. He didn't engage protesters or point his gun at rioters. He had it in case he was attacked. This is about as textbook of a case of self defense as I have seen.

You do realize that if his intentions were to kill people he had way more opportunities to do so. He defended himself.

We don’t “need” any of the violence that has gone on across

The country for more than a year.
What we need is for the proper authorities to take their jobs seriously and to aggressively address violent situations when and where they occur and to make adequate preparations to get ahead of those situations before they start.
Guys like Kyle Rittenhouse are reacting to the total lack of accountability and action by the legal, authorities.

Not just going to be Kenosha if he's acquitted
Nov 16, 2021, 5:02 PM

which based on the evidence I've seen he should be. When the prosecution's own witnesses basically show him to be defending himself, stupid as it was in the first place to be there, then your case is in deep trouble. How does a prosecutor not know what his own witness will say?
I think we see riots across the nation, in blue cities, as that is where they are allowed to happen. Kenosha has 500 National Guardsman stationed so that may quell it. If the Governor had done that last year, this is entire situation is likely avoided.
Major question I have. How is a white kid shooting 3 white guys race related? That's the narrative. Seemingly to stoke racial fires

Proud Boys are NOT White supremacists officially nor in any but the loosest interpretations of the word.
They are multiracial and actually sued the SCLC for calling them WS, which will actually compel a legal definition of "White supremacy" if the case progresses.
They describe themselves as unapologetic Western chauvinists with some members who also belong to antisemitic or neonazi groups, but when the membership acts together they do not promote those values.
Obviously, these are not guys to take trivially, but if Libs ask us to distinguish between BLM and Antifa, we should also try to distinguish between a nonmember of Proud Boys and neonazis.

A lawyer is obligated to accurately state the law as stated in the jury instructions in closing argument. He stepped over that line in my opinion. That wasn't the only line he stepped on. Case is ripe for appeal if they get a conviction.

with his finger on the effing trigger. he sure doesn't know much about handling guns especially the three basic rules:
1. assume every weapon is loaded. 2. never point a weapon at someone or something you don't want to shoot. 3. keep your finger off the trigger till you're ready to shoot.

On surface, I agree that he should not have been there. But then, I question myself on that comment.
What if - hundreds or thousands of people would have gone and stood up to the rioters, looters, arson, thugs, etc? Not to shoot, but to defend. How much damage could have been stopped. Antifa and the bad element of BLM (not all is bad) - use race and intimidation and do not expect push back. If there were people in front of every store with baseball bats who could return the violence - how many businesses , jobs, etc could have been saved?
Taking a life is not something any of us should take lightly. But we also should not be bullied into allowing rioting, looting, arson, race baiting, cancel culture, educational programming, etc. people who do the right things have turned the other cheek for too long. The parents of children in loudon va pushed back and the state listened. I don’t care if you are repub or dem. But nobody should allow the fringes to bully us. A good debate and healthy give and take is good for the USA.

Nov 16, 2021, 7:16 PM

Appease a mob of protesters in s exactly why they terrorize. The fact that our Supreme Court doesn’t hear cases about voter fraud bc they are afraid of public outcry is why the mob of protesters continue to terrorize. The fact that you worry about a kid living 20 minutes away from Kenosha and question his motives yet protesters are being flown and bussed into Kenosha from around the country is evidence that you hear a narrative fed the u by big tech and mainstream media and take it t as the only point of view. This is the real epidemic, propaganda, and we have accepted it. Y’all have got to start asking more questions and pushing back in this stuff or we’re going to be led around by the powers that be and not by our own common sense.

Nov 16, 2021, 8:30 PM

him, assaulted him in multiple ways that they knew could kill him, and pointed a loaded gun at him during the process. It doesn't matter whether or not he had any "business in Kenosha", he had every right to be there, and he was subjected to a potentially deadly attack while trying to run away, and shot his attackers in self defense. Any other take is nothing but spin with zero regard for the truth in this specific case, designed to advance a particular sociopolitical agenda. That's all this is. And yes, there will be rioting and looting and burning, but that's not the prosecutor's fault, it's not Kyle Rittenhouses's fault, it's not the jury's fault; it's the fault of the criminals who commit those acts, and the politicians, activists, and media outlets who are promoting this hate-filled, anti-American agenda.

But if it did, I guess you would agree that a BLM protester that is counter protesting a KKK rally has no right to self defense? Since he has no business there?

It's like saying the girl that got raped had no business out at 2AM wearing a miniskirt. If he is not acquitted for taking out some trash, it will be a miscarriage of justice. I fought to protect the Constitutional rights of all Americans. Freedom of speech and the right to protest ends when a person starts destroying private or Government property. He legally owned a rifle and was there to protect private property by request. No one can take away your right to self defense. When being confronted by an individual possessing the means and intent to cause bodily harm, he, being in fear for his life, used his defensive fire arm to defend himself. Lucky for those dirtbags that survived, he wasnt carrying a shot gun. NM

What were his nefarious and disingenuous "motives"...
Wasn't the rioters and ANTIFA clowns it was the kid who went to try and help keep business' safe and help people who got hurt... yea that's the ticket...
The prosecution does not have a case, this is yet another show trial ...
The gun fiasco may be the most blatant example...
"we do not argue the gun issue" ... charge dismissed...
The same idiot who pointed a weapon at the jury.... wreckless endangerment... lets see kid on his back being chased by a mob, one of which has a handgun, the other tries to behead him with his skateboard, the other child molester... or the moron who one week after Alec Baldwin shot up the crew... not sure which oe to submit for the Darwin Award ...
Kenosha on alert for riots? Why? Who's gonna riot? Another angry mob? And the excuse will be?

Go read Mega-democract donor and Wall Street icon, Bill Ackman's realization on the media's coverage of this trial. Or don't and stay in your bubble of falsehoods.
https://www.newsweek.com/bill-ackman-twitter-kyle-rittenhouse-trial-1648621
A few key excerpts;
"Kyle Rittenhouse's life is at risk. Justice demands a fair trial. Society would benefit greatly if politics did not enter the courtroom and convict innocent people."
Just 20 minutes after sending his last tweet regarding Rittenhouse, Ackman tweeted again to say someone from the media had called him to ask if his Twitter account had been hacked.
"That is, the reporter couldn't conceive of the idea that I could believe that Kyle is innocent because I am not a right winger. Crazy," Ackman said."

When Rosenbaum shouted “”SHOOT ME! N***ER!” If that guy

had obliged him, none of the rest of the whole thing would have happened.
If the black guy with the AR15 had shot the white Rosenbaum as he demanded while Rosenbaum aggressively got up in his face, and shouted the racial epithet, the whole thing would have been forgotten.
BTW: when this story first broke did anybody else have the mental picture that Kyle Rittenhouse probably looked more like Rambo than the Pillsbury Doughboy?

Wrong about him not having business in Kenosha, his dad lives there in Kenosha, that is where his rifle was stored and his mom did not take him there. The media has lied about him furiously.

Kyle Rittenhouse is an idiot, but...

maybe slightly less stupid than his mom.
Further, he's probably more intelligent than the folks claiming he's some kind of #### hero.
He is actually a wonderful example of some major problems in our country. Not the least of which is the fact that I dare a black 17-year-old kid to do EXACTLY as Kyle did. Guess what... it never gets that far because the police would intervene (with prejudice) and it sure as sh__ wouldn't be to give the kid a bottle of water. Folks want to pretend white privilege is fake? Look at every move and thought made by this white kid before, during, and after this event.
About the VICTIMS. I don't know anything about them. According to some here they were bad folks. Apparently, we know they were bad folks because our legal has had its day with them and they have records to show for it. You know what our legal system doesn't allow for though - using someone's previous record to justify their unlawful or even accidental homicide. Over and over the first thing (usually white) folks do when a cop, or an idiot kid, or some rednecks in Georgia, do when someone is killed is to see how they can justify that person's death - even over crimes that would barely rank as a misdemeanor - or even no crimes AT ALL. WTAF?!
This kid deserves punishment. I don't want to see ANY 17 year old spend his life behind bars, Rittenhouse included. But there must be consequences for this level of stupidity (and that remains true regardless of whatever "whataboutism" anyone wants to drum up).
That said, I agree with my good old buddy Biggie - he's gonna get off. Partly because of the idiocy of the prosecutor and the lunacy of the judge.

Rittenhouse will not be proven innocent... although

"Not guilty" is a real possibility. I'm sure you realize those things are not the same.
Also, you get no reward for believing those racist ####### in Georgia are guilty. Does it always have to be that #### cut/dry before we even dare hold killers accountable?
The kid went looking for trouble. He found it. Now he wants a pass. And he's gonna get it. And it will be open season for the white right because god knows that 2nd Amendment doesn't apply equally to everybody.
To think all this could have been avoided if Kyle and his family weren't so #### dumb.
