RIP Tommy Moody

Just heard that he passed away. Longtime SC broadcaster. I didn’t always like what he said about Clemson (except for post game after yet another Clemson win over the gamecocks) but always enjoyed hearing his takes and he seemed like a great man. He had a great old South Carolina accent that you don’t hear near as much these days as well, which I will miss hearing.

Living in Columbia and being a Tiger fan I always appreciated Tommy’s opinions. He was a classy guy who loved his Gamecocks as much as I do my Tigers but I felt he always kept things classy. His love of baseball and all of his memories and trivia were amazing. He will be missed.
