...ban via IP address. Seemed like a logical vehicle to prevent all this silly scokery. His answer was it could impact legitimate members who happen to share a specific IP either in-home or in a business setting. So it sounds like they're not going to entertain that thought.

Plenty of websites that are happy to help in doing so.
