UPDATE: Jack Pyburn wanted some “guarantees” according to
@ZachAbolverdi
- 45k per month
- guaranteed starting position at OLB
- guaranteed to play on 3rd downs
- more snaps in the rotation
Florida wasn’t willing to agree, so Pyburn entered the portal

these demands are ridiculous if true. Nobody should be guaranteed a starting spot, especially if that's literally part of a contract, and LBs getting pulled for nickel corners and such on 3rd downs is just part of football.

It would be interesting to see where he ends up. If no big school takes him in the portal, he could end up playing D3 in some nowhere school against really poor competition.

Even professional players aren’t guaranteed starting positions. That’s a ridiculous request. He will end up in San Jose State or something inferior.

Is this kid actually good enough to make these demands? This is so silly.
It's going to be incredibly eye opening for about 80% of these kids making big NIL checks when they graduate and move on to something other than football. They're going to feel silly pulling up to the office where they sell insurance in a Bentley truck that's worth 4x their annual salary.
