The GOP is doing much the same these days.

Give this another 10 years and we'll have AOC and MTG competing for speaker. Unless we collapse or default first, also a possibility.

No one cares. No one understands. And no one cares to understand what is happening.

No one, politics notwithstanding, who seeks power today, will ever inform people the reasons for our problems, much less propose any real solutions to them beyond lip service. Biden will blame Trump. Trump will blame Biden. Pubs will blame dems. Dems will blame pubs. When all else fails, we will blame some foreign entity. And we're all the dumber for believing any of it.

Oh well.
