I remember the first game winning FG he kicked was against Virginia Tech. It was only about a 40 yarder and it barely made it. I remember thinking to myself, is this the best we've got? Man did he prove me wrong. He hit some big field goals for the Tigers.

Danny Ford didn't even know his name that day. Back in the day when you didn't "waste" scholarships on kickers.

"Throw your heart through the uprights and the ball will follow" I believe is what he said his grandmother told him. He was one of my all time favorites of our kickers. Beat Georgia a couple times as I recall.

I didn't know that he earned his law degree. That's great!
He was an electrical engineering major at Clemson, with a business minor. He's obviously a highly intelligent guy!
