Regarding the new contract possibility for Dabo.

I think if we are going to pay that much money to a coach he should be
Young and energetic
Hire great assistants
Have at least five years of experience as FBS coach
Have won at least three division titles
HAve won at least one conference championship
Have been to at least two BCS Bowls
Have signature wins over programs like Georgia, Auburn twice, LSU, Virginia Tech three times, Florida State twice, Miami.
Must be a proven recruiter.
Must represent the university well.
Must be an asset to the community.
Must run a clean program with no history of probation.
Must be a tireless worker.
Must keep the attendance numbers high in Death Valley.
Must be able to avoid losing the games we are supposed to win in addition to signature wins.
It is hard to find all of the above in a young coach with only five years experience, but that is what is deserving of such a contract.

I hope we all feel good about an 8 year contract in a couple of years. I just hope we all realize how much money that is if things don't go as expected.

S Carolina. You will never get his attention otherwise.
