1) WRs are continuing to look better. Williams is a stud possession receiver, Brinny AND Patt-Henry have great hands.
2) WAAAY too much mouthing and squawking and strutting and showboat behavior from our Tigers today, regardless of UVA’s instigation. There’s a difference btw celebration/intimidation and being pathologically dramatic. We pushed pathologic all day. Gotta keep the showboat stuff in check.
3) Cade is still able to be fooled, but not as easily this year. His reads are consistently pretty good and his throws are consistently pretty good. He needs to relax when he sees a finesse opportunity for low-hanging fruit - still too wound up to back-yard a lob when there’s a coverage bust.
4) Carter isn’t freeing himself up from the wash enough to track down the ball carriers in gaps. Need to read the blocking scheme faster, perhaps? Only 3 tackles today.
5) Tre Williams looked like he was about to eat that ball he scooped up! Big man with the quick hands!
6) With respect to Tony Elliot, I bet I heard the word “emotional” 40 times this week in media coverage. Tony was all business, and his team put up a very respectable fight against a superior foe. He’s building UVA up for sure.

I agree there was far too much jawing during the game. And yes even if Virginia instigated, Clemson players need to rise above it.

CDS needs to have a serious conversation. Football is highly emotional and competitive, and completely stopping it is never going to happen. Some of it is not harmful and just words, but these are teenage or early 20 year old guys with a lot of big egos. I’m thinking yesterday was an anomaly and will not continue into Lville game.

The video of Leigh kicking opponent in head, albeit not a big kick, was completely blatant and uncalled for. That young man needs to sit and contemplate if he wants to play football or go into WWE, do not need that on our Tiger team. CDS will discuss and handle appropriately as he makes 10M a year to make sure that bushleague crap does not happen snd if it does it is dealt with
