Be the opposite. Get larger safety’s and make them Lb’s but at Clemson we shouldn’t have to play that game. Should be able to get the top products at the positions they are.

We always lead with big ten or sec... I wonder if the other conferences use school x hosting acc decomit?
Anyway, hope he works out. But we have 2 seniors leaving. Seems like we need experienced depth. If we flip him, do we still have room for an experienced LB from the portal?

Xavier is typically an excellent program in Ohio HS football. They have lost to Moeller and Elder who are also typically very strong also

I think it’s pretty clear after this season that we lack significant sideline to sideline speed at the linebacker position and it’s killing us on the edges. #47 is quick but has #17 has been a liability. Need to find the Isaiah Simmons archetype. This is why the Tyler Atkinson miss to UGA was so huge (expected).

Anthony Simmons and Harold Means from Spartanburg High School started out as safeties, grew up, and moved to LB and were pretty good.
It is difficult to move from being closer to the ball and playing in space. Much easier moving from the back end to be closer to the ball. If the player can maintain his speed as he grows, you have the speed that we are looking for.

We used to have a few of these players sprinkled in our top 10, top 15 classes but now we’re filling our classes with them. A huge reason we’re 3-4 and looking at a historically bad season.

About 15 years ago there was another 3-star LB recruit from St. Xavier that not many schools recruited. He ended up being a pretty good player (Luke Kuechly). Stars mean nothing. Look at all the 5 stars that we've had that didn't live up to the hype!!
