I got our Tigers headed to the Final Four to face Auburn in my official bracket. Kansas over Auburn in the final, with us over St. Mary's in the West final.
While this season to date is pretty much a mirror image of Purnell's last season here before Brad took over 14 years ago, it's all going to change starting Friday as our boys regain the form from their 11-1 start and that big win at UNC they pulled off mid-ACC season.
Brad's most talented roster over his time here will not be squandered. We've shown we can beat anyone anywhere anytime, and the NCAA is that opportunity to rise to the occasion and stake our claim. Unlike NC State, who peaked too early IMO with their ACCT run, we have had time to lick fresh wounds, fix issues with motivation, urgency, rebounding, coachability, shot selection, and not panicking when we are down, and most importantly, rest.
Look out, world! How 'bout them Tigers! It's coming.

Read what and weep ...... your opinion? I am not and have never been Brownell hater ..... just the opposite. I hope we do exactly as your opinion states, but our history under Brownell give no indication that this will occur. As always (which is rare) that we have been in the tournament, in my brackets I have always put the Tigers about two wins past where they are favored, because I love the Tigers and just hoped they could pull it off. I don't mind losing $10, but I am always going to bet on my Tigers!

No real Tiger fans are hoping we lose or pulling against us.
Reality and just flat out homerism are 2 different things.
We are going to lose to NM and be one and done and it will surprise no one here who’s realistic.
NM is actually favored. Why is an 11 favored over a 6? Vegas exists for a reason… bc more times than not… they know.
Please no one give me the well they just want even bets on both sides… I totally understand that but they still set the line with NM favored is my point.
That’s a really… really bad sign.
