You weren't kdding, impossible to rent a house in Clemson

for a football weekend it seems. Vrbo had only 1 listing 1 mile from campus and that was taken. The rest are lakehouses and not walkable to stadium, etc.
I thought I would give one last shot in case any of you had friends family that rent their places.
I can pay total 2,500 to 3,000 for the three night period Thurs. Oct 1 - Sunday Oct 4.
Looking for 2 bath, that can sleep approx. 10 people.
We have a reservation at holidayinnexpress but its similar price and would really prefer a house.
Appreciate any help.

stadium is tough. If you can branch out to Seneca or Lake Keowee you prob have better luck. Try Remax-Foothills, ask for Layvonne Foster (prop manager) 654.1000 ... or Cope Prop Mgmt, ask for April Cope

Thanks much! Cope Property Management was very helpful. They didn't have anything right now, but they told they have an office in clemson and they are going to help us find something close in to town.
I have heard of this Esso club and i think we'll be needing to walk home

weekends...in Fairplay. They rent it for $250 a night and it sleeps 6-8. Usually visitors, though. I would rather some Tigers rent it out. It's only about a 20-30 min drive to the stadium.

I would just camp out on the grass with all the other hobos. Somewhere is a thread that instructs you on how to set up satellite so you do not get bored.
