Happy for a loss and expecting a loss are 2 different things my friend.. Toger fans want to win, but Brownell has burned us so many times in his DECADE AND A HALF, that I believe we have enough data at this point to make some educated predictions. Like for instance, this team is more likely to be 1 and done in tbe big dance than it is to win 2 games. Based on the inconsistent play, I'd put them at about 70% of coming home after round 1!

Clemson FANS want all Clemson athletic teams to WIN : however there are “lunatic fringe” groupies that are obsessed with Brownell!! He has had 14 seasons to prove his worth and mediocrity is ALL he has shown. So you call us jock sniffers I contend that you are Brownell jock lovers!!!!

pulls for or is happy with a Clemson loss. I am no fan of Brad and I do think he should have been gone a long time ago. However, as a Clemson fan, as long as he is coaching our Tigers, I will be pulling for him to get a win every time they step on the court. The problem with this is, the harder you pull for the Tigers, the more disappointed you are when they come up short, especially against teams we should beat. This happens way too often on Brad's watch. Assuming we still make it to the big dance, I will be cheering for the Tigers in however many games we play and I feel like 99.9% of the Clemson fans on T-Net will be doing the same. GO TIGERS!!!

cugrad93. But the pragmatist in me punted on Clemson Basketball 12 years ago when I was assured Brad Brownell was an uninspiring incapable coach. Equipping a decade-plus of Clemson hoopsters with an incapable coach is unacceptable behavior bordering on cruel and unusual punishment. The enablers of Brownell have certainly contributed to the demise of our players and the ineptness of the basketball program. Soc Howell, Class of 1984

we long, long term Clemson fans love the game of basketball and the history of good solid Clemson defense with some offense thrown in to keep us happy. However, with Brownell you never can get a consistent pattern of defense or offense, especially offense. My wife (big fan with BB and FB knowledge) will ask me what kind of offense are we running? Why are our bigs out at the 3 point line? Why are we passing the ball around until only 7 seconds are left on the shot clock? And those are only the few that come to mind. Yes, you do get conditioned to accepting losses to comparable teams when the end of the season rolls around. I like Brownell and what he is trying to do to make these players better players, better men, graduates, etc. but as hard as he tries, something is missing in the game and we cannot turn up the defense or offense when the heat is on. In our league, we just cannot win when you have 2 or 3 scoring droughts in a game that last 8-10 minutes each. Honestly, I watch the execution and spacing in a game and it just seems that the other team is playing with 6 players and we only have 5 whether on offense or defense. We can't seem to get any shot off, but then the other team always has an open shot or a pull up at the free throw line.

Nobody wanted us to lose if they are Clemson fans but I think most Clemson fans would like to see a change at head coach.
He got beat by a former assistant with much more talent and he has been doing that when it counts the most for 14 years.
I’m supporting him a 100 percent going into March madness, I hope we win every game we play.
I always have pulled for us to win since I can remember, I’ve pulled for every coach regardless if we needed to make a change.
We need to make a change, the final sixteen or above will save his job but anything less we will have a change.
Of course sarcasm for sure!!!!!
