Basketball program needs a Dabo Swinney!

I get tired of hearing were not a basketball school because there is no excuse for brownell with the talent he has on the floor to not win these close games! We are the better team but are getting out coached in the final two minutes of every game it seems! chunking up threes with two minutes to go is going to lose you more games than it will win you! Lets find our basketball Dabo and put him to work fixing this mess!

Now who's to blame for that? It's a long and complicated question with an even longer and more complicated answer.

But the fact is that we are not a "better" basketball team or program than Virginia right now ... or ever.

Can we be? Sure ... but we're not right now and where Virginia is at the present is a place Clemson has never been as a program.

And believe me, you can rest assured that Virginia fans who saw the huge celebration on behalf of our football team today understand completely the meaning of being about 50 years behind in the development of a specific athletic program in a particular sport.

You are all right. Unfortunately I don't see a quick fix. Dabo had history to help me. In basketball we do not. But we do need someone who has been there and done that as a player and/or an assistant coach. My suggestion though is Chaka Smart.

Loves Clemson. Some say he would not leave VCU for Clemson, but we need to try. DRad let's Dabo talk to him could be door breaker. Wade knows Dabo from his time here.

for kick in the behind? Because I see little D effort on a consistent basis. When they play D they arent bad but most times they elect not to. Very frustrating to watch them do that
