Well they prob don’t know that lol he’s a solid ball player that doesn’t get consistent ABs, I’d give him one more AB and tell him to be aggressive and maybe let someone pinch hit late for him , but he’s gonna be fine

Not sure saying he can’t hit or calling him a liability is all that fair … kid is young and still hitting around .300, it’s early in the season and main reason he’s in is bc obviously Cam isn’t fully healthy so Mathes is in cf.

I agree with that… when it was 3-1 it was like he was looking for a walk … just needs to be a little more aggressive and swing , I def would be bc he has to know as soon as Cam is back in CF his abs will be limited so mind as well be aggressive and see what happens.
