Heck this isn't even a Watson thing. Or a Dabo thing actually. I remember Bowden doing this too. Other teams call off the dogs when up by 40. But not like 17 or 20. Yeesh.

For plays just like that. Because you don't want your star taking shots when the 3rd string offensive line is in charge of protecting him.

Because we are on the verge of something truly special this season, and it is so close we can taste it, and if anything happens to DW4 then its over. I certainly don't think we play scared, but there is no shame in taking out the player our hopes are riding on once we are up 3 TDs.
