I was in AK for 2wks and came back and she is out? I haven't heard what has happened but she was rocking?

Well, she was doing ok against weak teams, and average pitching. She started struggling when we played good competition. Which happens to true freshman. But she's dealing with an undisclosed illness and needs our prayers. No time-line when she'll be back. Prayers help if you're so inclined.

I believe she's been in the dugout which is good...we definitely need her

back in the lineup. More importantly, she needs to be healthy. This team just hasn't been clicking on all cylinders. Too much is laid on Val's shoulders, and I believe she may be putting too much pressure on herself. Millie looked good last night as did Regan, BUT that's against lesser competition. When you have (2) chances to get a runner in from 3B and fail, there's an issue.

Is the team putting too much pressure on themselves? Did they read all of the headlines and start believing the media about how good they are (I don't think this is the case)? There's still time to have a great season but it needs to start happening now.

I was encouraged to see her in the dugout last night (in street clothes). Gillman and Whitlock had to make mention of her being out because they showed a stats graphic where she is leading the team. You could tell they weren’t real comfortable bringing up her situation. Praying for her healing 🙏
