would give you some shred of hope for the season after last Saturday's debacle?
I think we have to score at will and pitch dang near a shutout to feel better about our chances for a decent season.

Makes no difference in my opinion. We are playing CSU. We can't see improvement because we are playing lesser talent.

Well I watched their game the other day and they are not good at all. Realistically, I do not think any positive can be taken from this. I will be watching to see if our WRs get separation and if Klubnik will have all day to pass

there isn't a result/outcome that would make me feel "better", but there are situations that could make me feel worse about the season.
Syracuse beat Colgate last weekend 65-0...........what does that mean?......nothing........had they beaten them 21-17 that would mean SOMETHING!.......get my drift.?

The only way this team will see a playoff game this year, we will have to run up the score on everybody we play with the exception of FSU, but we will have to beat them, and I believe that's a fact!!!

This teams playoff chances were fumbled away Monday night unfortunately. Hope we still beat fsu but playoffs would have to expand to 30 teams for us to be in.

I disagree - our schedule sets us up nicely if we win out to be in the playoffs. Media loves Notre Dame and Florida State and we have those at home. It’s a long shot given what we saw Monday night but if we win out, we will have a spot on the playoff.

I want to see the starters go the distance and have a heavy focus on downfield pass plays.

But, we will still see a vanilla, conservative offense, bubble screens galore. Klubnik will hand off to Shipley as much as possible.
Defense will look better, but it’s Charleston Southern.
I have no idea what to expect out of the special teams. They’re a hot mess.
Dabo will have the 2nd and 3rd string in by mid-third quarter because that’s what he does. So the score will be something more like 42-3.

Consistent execution of fundamentals. I want to see smooth handoffs between the QB and RB. Ball protection from the RBs, QB and WRs. Smart pass decisions from the QB and good catches from the WRs.
If they can get back to mastering the fundamentals, the game will slow down and the rest will come. There will be games on our schedule where we have better talent at key positions on the opposing team, but fundamentals and grit can go along way toward making up for that.

I know the defense has work to do as well, but the Duke game was on the Offense IMO. No way we should lose a game where the opponent has 6 points at half and 13 at the start of the fourth quarter.
