Wes Goodwin is the only reason we have 8 wins. Wes Goodwins defense is taking the hit with transfers and NFL

Offense has NO EXCUSE.

Defense has given up 2 TDs...one set up by an explosive run where the run fit wasn't good.

The other was set up when the UK WR committed an obvious OPI that should have been called.

Defense is not our issue in this game. Look at the other side of the ball.

Everyone can tell the offense is trash but everyone was hoping that the defense wouldn’t fall apart next year when the Players you speak of left. You have to ask yourself if the players what made Goodwin look good as this game seems to suggest. Man I hope not

It’s not Goodman making the mistakes it’s our freshmen on the field. But it’ll help them grow up. Offense on the other hand looks like they will be the same next year. 4 years of terrible offense is rough. Zero explosive plays. We’re not even getting the nuts a blind squirrel finds.

This era of transfer portal and opting out makes for little excitement and changes the complexion of these bowl games. We are missing Trotter, Wiggins, Mukuba, etc.
