Seems they were the BiG Boys in college ball..b/4 Bama was.

Do know Coach Howard took a Clemson Team out there in 60's or 70's and came home tailless with a 40-? Loss.

That game was the start of a SEA-CHANGE in southern football.

Bear Bryant realized that African-american players would need to be an extremely important part of college football.

Alabama could not stop Bam that day!

you could say the last year USC would be favored over bama would be 2008. That really was the turning point of USC's powerhouse fading and Bama beginning to become what they are known as today
