But I feel so sorry for Jimbob and his wifebob, how in the world will they ever make ends meat on that little bit of money, the university should feel total ashamed of themselves for not giving that poor fella a heads up that he was about to be fired. I would have an attorney to make up reasons to sue their A$$ES off!!!!

He gets almost ~$20 Million in the next 60 days, then in 120 days he starts ~$7.5 Million annually for the next 7 years.
They were really stupid giving him a 10 year extension through 2031. INSANE!! Fire the AD too!
They keep changing coaches, buying players and getting worse every year!!! Jimbo will be fine!
We are blessed to have Dabo at Clemson. I hope Tyler becomes ab Aggie!

I would have begged to be fired for only 10% of that much, that would make me richer than I've ever been or will ever be in my lifetime. I don't know if I did the maff right, but isn't 10% of 75,000,000= 7,500,000. If my maff is correct, I haven't come close to making $7.5 mil in my entire lifetime if I would have made $100,000 a year from the day that I was born, I would come up 4 years short to have made 7.5 mil at $100,000 a year. I mean anybody that is 90 years old today, and they started working a job when they were 20 years old for a 100K a year, they still wouldn't have made $7.5 mil by the time they were 90 years old...
And Jimbo is getting 75 mil for failing at his job that he has had for 6 years. There isn't any words that could describe how over paid coaches are for managing a college FB team even when they have failed every year they were the man in charge!!!!

I just looked and A&M / Fisher had to pay FSU $7M as part of his buyout when he left FSU...so A&M had to pay coming and going...

There is the problem with college football and the NFL. They recycle the same guys and expect different results. All those names on the replacement list can’t win where they are. Why would they win at A&M? All that money didn’t help Jimbo win.

And this is what is wrong with college football. We have done it at Clemson with Dabo also. The schools have created an unsustainable climate with these absurd salaries and tbe length of contracts. No man is worth this kind of money. This is the only reason that would say to student athletes to get all you can get! No matter where you have to go to get it! Get yours because these coaches are getting theirs and a lot of them Suck!!

... so he beat Bama once and he got the huge 10 year extension. Supposedly LSU wanted him. These agents are very good at playing that game, prob. even pay folks to start such rumors. I know Tommy Bowden used the Tenn job prospects to extract big $ from us. I would say let any coach go, even Dabo, make sure he pays his buyout on the way out. Just think what 75 million dollars can do for the university.
Its a zero sum game, not every coach can end up with 10-2 records every year.

I mean if you’re Jimbo today… are your feelings really that hurt? I mean yeah professionally getting fired is never good but I don’t know to many people that can beg fired and take 75 mill home with them.
That sure would take the sting out of it for me. They’re actually going to pay you 75 mill to NOT work. Not a bad deal at all if you’re Jimbo but completely ridiculous from a normal citizens standpoint.

A&M doesn't have the money to buyout Dabo after they paid Jimbo $76 mil.
Even if they did, Dabo wouldn't leave for what would at best, be seen as a lateral move. When he leaves Clemson, it will be on a high note and most likely be a retirement decision.
Riley, who could be intriguing for a school like A&M, should realize that he would have a very short leash. If things don't go "right" in 2-3 years, he would get the hook.
Wouldn't be surprises to see Schumann (DC @ UGA) or Hartline (OC @ OSU) get an interview.

Yes he has, but it's nobody's fault but the administrations from around college FB that has allowed the price for hiring HCs get so costly, and now that they have, I hope that all of them at sometime will get burnt for allowing it to get completely out of hand, and it was the schools in the SEC and the Big that got it started IMO!!!
