RIP. It was only a few months ago I heard him on the Fbaum show, calling Dabo a cheerleader, not an actual coach. Of course, it sounded more like “cheeuh leaduh”. He will be missed.

That’s really sad. I’ve never been a Georgia fan, but I enjoyed watching some of his teams and he was a great coach

I was told by a reliable source that Coach Dooley got COVID a few weeks ago, and his recovery went sideways during recovery. He went into hospice 10 days ago. Never was a fan, mostly due to my Clemson deep seeded roots, but you have to respect his contributions to the sports world and the Dawgs. RIP

He was the absolute best at everything he ever did he was loving and caring and my nephew at Georgia wanted to play football but he was too small and Vince said be a cheerleader… so he was … after 8/11 he enlisted and went to Iraq and was killed ….the man is an absolute saint!
