"not one of my favorite people" Sometimes the national media show a little ankle. What has Dabo done that is so offensive to Mike Greenberg that he felt that he needed that qualifier. The knives are out and always will be out for Dabo because of the way he conducts himself on and off the field. Let's just say it. Anyone who openly espouses Christian beliefs in today's post-Christian world will have a target on their back. Let's remember when they tried to get him during the BLM riots with his "Football Lives Matter" tee-shirt. Keep the faith, Dabo

I miss the days of Mike and Mike. Greeny is just another mouth piece without Golic there the to check him. I haven't seen anything from Golic about it but my guess would be he doesn't have a problem with it and may even say Dabo was fine to let him have it. I know a lot of people on here cut ESPN for other reasons but I stopped tuning in when they burned down that show.

I loved Mike and Mike, and I miss it, but Get Up is great too. Greeny does a great job on Get Up. I miss Golic though.

Totally agree. I used to watch all the time when Greeny was with Golic. Never watch his show now. He seems to be an empty shell. Northeast view of the world that is anti South and religion. Shame on him that is so evident in his commentary.

You people are ridiculous. 90%+ of college coaches and players are extremely Christian. Every football player is quick to thank God first. No one hates Dabo because he's Christian. People hate Dabo because he's narcissistic and says #### without thinking.

That part. Not to mention Christians are converted Jews because Jesus opened the religion to include any who will believe in him. Jesus ruffled Jews feathers by opening his arms to gentiles.
Dabo makes some crazy comments at times. He is narcissistic, brash, corny, and oozes hubris. He’s so convicted about his way; he refuses to change with the game.

It's amazing how little some of y'all really can't take the slightest negative thing said. He mostly said nice things in support of Dabo.. but he makes the slightest negative comment and you go on this unhinged rant about the media and Black Lives Matter. How can you not see that YOU are the only one offended in this scenario?
Also Christianity was not even remotely mentioned, why are you so obsessed with this persecution complex? The majority of football players and coaches are Christians. A handful of ppl don't like it. But so what? You don't like those people either. People are allowed their opinions. Get over it snowflake.

The most interesting part of Greenberg’s comments is “not one of my favorite people”. I listen to Greenberg a fair amount and I don’t recall every hearing him use that phrase.

Give me a break. Dabo is probably the #1 hated CFB coach with Brian Kelley being a close 2nd. It’s not like Greenberg said anything controversial. I like Dabo, but I recognize that I’m pretty biased, too. Can’t say objectively that if Dabo were coaching elsewhere he’d be my favorite person in the world.

Since Dabo’s third year I’ve understood that he is a great CEO—- he created a great vision that he sells to new coaches, recruits and their mothers, and to fans.
He’s NOT a great X’s and O’s Coach— most great coaches aren’t. He built our team on this culture—- with Chad Morris and Brent Venables—- but he sometimes thinks the culture wins the games.
He has to bring in great coaches, not ex-players, who know how to train players and motivate them.
Then we will be back.
