in the NFL. No one will convince me that Ngata is a better receiver than Cain, at this point in time. But, what Ngata IS, is both younger and considerably cheaper than keeping Cain around would have been. So, Cain lost out. Simple as that.

Ngata is a better special team player which makes him a better 5th/6th WR for an NFL team.

play special teams. He was hurt too much to even get snaps on the Offense.

Maybe that special snake oil called "salary" made him feel all better....

Hope Cain can get signed somewhere else. Maybe a practice squad or as a replacement in case of an injury.
