This Commissioner is a bad joke.
When he took over as Chief, 1st, burning passion, most important priprity? Shopping for new members,? renogiate ESPN contract?
Find new members to strengthen the ACC?
NAH, let's look for a new location for ACC HQ in Charlotte! By Ned, that's the most important priority.
Phillips is so overloaded it is sad. Whiz on him and those who voted him into office. We have a man running the ACC who is incompetent. New mottos or marketing lines are a sure sign Phillips and team are inferior to the task. Also, they SUCK. They didn't 'bring a knife to a gun fight', they brought a stick.
Phillips should be FIRED IMMEDIATELY.

Wonder how much money they wasted on this paying those consultants and ad agencies?
Sorry just watched it and don't even remember it 5 minutes later. Nothing catchy about it. Hope they didn't pay more for that than the SEC paid for "It just means more!"

As someone who works in branding/marketing/advertising, this is just generic garbage with no real positioning that will help the conference move forward.
It's full of corporate buzzwords and phrases that I'm sure made the higher ups and the committees in charge of approving this happy, but it is devoid of soul and fails to make any real impact.
It doesn't position the conference as "progressive or innovative" and it fails to meaningfully highlight the success on the field they talk about in their PR Quotes, too.
It says everything and nothing all at once, while successfully appeasing an entire committee and sucking any real meaning or soul out of the message. So in that regard it's a perfect encapsulation of our conference leadership.

Greatness isn’t go after SMU to join. They may open some recruiting doors, but not likely. One thing with SMU and Stanford is nobody cares. When SMU had Eric Dickerson and Craig James running wild they played at the old Cowboys stadium and nobody was there. I went to a game and sat on the front row
