Talk about the best earthly Christmas presents one could wish for. Flipping Houston would be HUGE and most likely an instant impact... especially if an early enrollee. Then the Luke effect on Nichols.

I have to agree you're spot on. Maybe in the works but sounds like really heated up after Rumph hire
We may have "bodies " at DE but other than Parker little to no experience. I actually thought Patterson might transfer. He still may if we flip him.

Clemson should really be using their resources to get an offensive lineman or 2 because that is what we need. Now it would be fantastic if Clemson can flip Houston and convince him that Clemson is the place to be especially him playing closer to home. I just hope we are not wasting our time with him.

What are you even talking about? Do you heat yourself? Our DEFENSIVE coordinator and D-line coaches don't recruit OFFENSIVE lineman. Your suggestion is for our defense coaches to actually waste their time recruiting the Oline. Are you mad? It's GREAT that all three made the trip to go visit a 5 star recruit who had us in his top 3 before he committed to Ohio State. This is a great move, and I hope they seal the deal! Bring Houston home!

When there is interest from a 5* player with whom we had a prior relationship, and him being from a HS where we have had luck getting signees in the past, and when the player in question plays a position of manifest need … I.e., the player is a potential starter or co-starter right out the chute, then it is not a waste of time to recruit him.
Period.
